Game Description

In Need for Speed Carbon, players take on the role of an unnamed protagonist who is back in the city of Palmont after an intense police chase that originally took place in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Game Overview

Need for Speed: Carbon is a high-speed car racing game focusing on street and canyon racing. In the game, Palmont City is the location of the event divided into several territories owned by street racing crews. The player has to defeat these crews in circuit, sprint, and drift events to have their territories taken back to the player. Once defeated, the player takes their territory and inches closer toward reclaiming the whole city.

Among the other great features, probably the most thrilling are the Canyon Duels of NFS Carbon. It involves narrow, winding canyon roads with high demands on precision and risks taken. The objective here is to keep tailing closely to the opponent in the first round and, vice versa, not allowing the opponent to keep up in the second. Players take one mistake and drop from the edge of the canyon into nowhere, adding more excitement and tension.

The game also contains another major feature called Crew Racing. Unlike the previous ones, in this game players are not alone, having crew members while racing in the game with different specialized skills: blocking opponents, slipstreams, or showing them hidden shortcuts during the race.
